On November 6th of this year, the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy, welcomed very special guests: Classes 2A and 2B of VS St. Veit am Vogau!
Ramona Jeitler and her team enthusiastically guided the children through our study pharmacy, where they were able to get to know various forms of medicine. Afterwards, they went to the large university lecture hall, where a short, exciting lecture was held for the pupils - the young guests were very attentive!
Of course, there was also a practical part: Together they made a nice-smelling chest balm for colds and even tablets. Of course, care was taken to ensure that all the children wore lab coats, gloves and safety goggles to comply with safety regulations.
Everyone involved had an incredible amount of fun and the primary school children were given an exciting insight into the world of pharmacy. Who knows, maybe one or the other future pharmacist was among the young guests?
Many thanks to VS St. Veit am Vogau and classes 2A and 2B for the visit - we are already looking forward to the next time!
